Cuban military dictatorship continues to oppress the Cuban people, and the crackdown on the July 2021 protests, and aftermath continue to reverberate across Cuba. Earlier this year an international human rights organization after a 10 year investigation concluded that two prominent Cuban human rights defenders were murdered by Cuban regime agents.

The Ladies in White – mothers, daughters, and wives of political prisoners, attend mass every Sunday peacefully calling for the release of all political prisoners. They are abused, beaten, and dragged away to jail.

Above, Pastor Mario Felix Lleonart, a Christian preacher who has been arrested repeatedly for calling on the authorities to stop physical abuse against peaceful demonstrators.
